BioWhat strikes me is the first thing that comes to mind is that I live in Alaska. I have never before been so linked with a physical location, but here I am, talking about Alaska first. Soon I'll have an "Alaska: Love it or Leave it!" sticker on my car. I work for Allen Marine, a company which takes cruise ship passengers on three hour tours to view humpback whales and other marine wildlife. Man, I've seen some whales. I do this a lot in the summer (may-sept.) so I don't have to work so much for the rest of the year. What I really care about is art, bluegrass and Erin (alphabetical, not importance). I make ceramic art lately, but I've worked in photography, printmaking and metal sculpture. I play mandolin in a Bluegrass band here in Juneau. I love it so much, but I especially realize it when I am away from it for a few weeks. That's the long version. In short: Art, Music, Erin and loving every minute.
